Our client is a multinational insurance company with offices based in Dublin. They have a requirement for a Financial Reporting Manager on a 12 Month FTC. This position is responsible for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting within a corporate finance team. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements under EU-IFRS, regulatory filings, and consolidated reports. The role also involves managing relationships with external auditors and internal finance counterparts, ensuring compliance with new reporting standards, and leading financial development projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports, and consolidated financial statements.
- Oversight of financial controls and reporting systems.
- Managing external auditor relationships and regulatory compliance.
- Assessing and implementing new financial reporting standards.
- Leading finance-related projects and process improvements.
- Providing financial updates to senior leadership and audit committees.
- Ensuring a strong control environment across finance teams.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in financial accounting, group reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience implementing new reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Experience in managing teams and working in a regulated environment.
