Looking for a leadership role where you can elevate food safety and quality standards? As the Food Safety and Quality Manager based in Dublin, you'll have the chance to drive continuous improvement, lead a dedicated team, and ensure products meet and exceed regulatory and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Food Safety and Quality support across all areas of production, storage, and transport, including supplier, processing, and product management.
- Implement and manage Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in line with current legislation and prescribed standards.
- Lead the internal HACCP team and maintain standards through an internal auditing program.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities (HSE, FSAI) and ensure legal compliance, including participation in regulatory, third-party, and customer audits and inspections.
- Manage supplier and product approval protocols.
- Align the Management Team with Food Safety and Quality (FS&Q) objectives.
- Define and manage finished product quality standards.
- Conduct audits to ensure FSMS compliance and resolve identified issues with the team.
- Ensure Food Safety training requirements are up to date and review training materials to meet standard requirements.
- Address and resolve FSQ operational issues and consumer complaints satisfactorily.
- Maintain site hygiene and pest control standards.
- Report on Food Safety and Quality performance against established targets.
Requirements:
- Science/ Food Science Qualification Essential
- Min 3-5 years technical Quality management experience
- HACCP/Food Safety Management systems knowledge
- Experience in implementing and managing QMS
- Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication and good organisational skills
- Full Driver's License and access to own car is required
- Approved to work in the EU
