What You'll Do
Be the go-to person for accounts payable! Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Efficient Invoice Processing: Handle large volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve invoice discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and collaborating closely with the purchasing team.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across multiple entities and currencies.
- Reconciliations and Reporting: Ensure monthly supplier account reconciliations and assist in audit queries.
- System & Process Ownership: Manage new supplier setup, verify changes, and analyze key transactions such as fuel card expenses.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Accounts Payable Manager and lead on various finance tasks to support the department.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: Minimum of 2-6 years in accounts payable, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in integrated accounts systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional numeric and analytical abilities with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Problem Solver: Proven ability to resolve discrepancies and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills to build effective relationships.
