Group Financial Accountant
Our client, an Irish Plc, is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to manage key financial reporting and support business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Group's annual, interim, and quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Improve Group consolidation systems and ensure data quality
- Manage month-end reporting and close process
- Liaise with Group companies for reporting, accounting, and chart of accounts
- Review and ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures
- Assist with audits and manage the audit process
- Prepare statutory accounts as needed
- Work with senior stakeholders on budget, forecasts, and planning
- Deliver monthly financial analysis and support Board reports
- Analyse budget variances and support acquisitions and integrations
- Provide insights for key commercial decisions and trends within the business
About You:
- Qualified Accountant with experience preferable working in or working with a Plc
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statement under IFRS
- Capable of managing large data sets to analyse and draw conclusions that support informed decision-making.
- Able to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders.
