Group Financial Accountant

Our client, an Irish Plc, is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to manage key financial reporting and support business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Group's annual, interim, and quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS
• Improve Group consolidation systems and ensure data quality
• Manage month-end reporting and close process
• Liaise with Group companies for reporting, accounting, and chart of accounts
• Review and ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures
• Assist with audits and manage the audit process
• Prepare statutory accounts as needed
• Work with senior stakeholders on budget, forecasts, and planning
• Deliver monthly financial analysis and support Board reports
• Analyse budget variances and support acquisitions and integrations
• Provide insights for key commercial decisions and trends within the business

About You:

• Qualified Accountant with experience preferable working in or working with a Plc
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statement under IFRS
• Capable of managing large data sets to analyse and draw conclusions that support informed decision-making.
• Able to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders.
