Job Title: Mechanical Engineer with Clean Room Experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and equipment for use in clean room environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all mechanical systems meet clean room requirements, including maintaining air quality, temperature, and humidity levels.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement solutions to mitigate any potential contamination risks in clean room settings.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within clean rooms and ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades on clean room equipment and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for clean room operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance on clean room design, construction, and equipment installation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to clean room mechanical systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for mechanical systems, including specifications, drawings, and maintenance records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) working as a Mechanical Engineer in clean room or controlled environment settings.
- Strong knowledge of clean room protocols, standards, and best practices (ISO 14644, GMP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with the design, operation, and maintenance of clean room mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with CAD software for mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- A proactive approach to safety and compliance within clean room environments.
- Knowledge of additional engineering software or systems is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with HVAC systems, filtration, and air handling units in clean rooms.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of electrical systems in clean rooms (a bonus).
- Relevant certifications in clean room or controlled environment systems (e.g., Cleanroom Certification, Six Sigma).
