    The Role:

    This is an exciting opportunity to take on a significant mentoring role within a large Dispute Resolution, Investigations, and Regulatory department, serving a diverse public sector client base. You will supervise and guide associates while building your own profile within the firm. The firm offers a unique platform to cultivate your client relationships and offers a working environment that encourages solicitors to exceed moderate targets comfortably.

    In this role, you will be part of a professional, friendly, and forward-thinking team, benefiting from the leadership of experienced partners. You will work on a variety of complex and engaging matters, including:

    • Providing legislative interpretation and advice to public sector clients.
    • Mitigating risks in the exercise of statutory functions and powers by public bodies.
    • Managing judicial review matters and statutory appeals, advising on procedural aspects.
    • Advising on investigations, drafting terms of reference, reviewing reports, and providing advice on processes and findings.
    • Supervising solicitor associates across a wide range of matters, ensuring ongoing learning and professional development.
    • Providing support to other business units as necessary.
    • Delivering continuous training and support to clients.

    The Candidate:

    • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in public and administrative disputes.
    • Strong academic credentials and excellent technical legal skills.
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and client-management abilities.
    • Able to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
    • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service and problem-solving.
