A leading financial services company, with a global presence, is seeking a Senior FP&A to join its finance team. The company operates in wholesale banking, providing capital markets and corporate services to clients worldwide. The role will support the FP&A function, as well as financial control tasks, in order to enhance the efficiency of the European Ffinance team.
Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for European entities
- Own the annual expense survey process and scrutinise allocations between entities
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and dashboards
- Automate and standardise management reports to focus on value-added activities
- Collaborate with business units to validate variances and collect data
- Produce daily P&L reports and substantiate key drivers
- Maintain relationships with key business and finance partners
- Review cost recovery and revenue-sharing agreements within TD affiliates
- Provide ad-hoc analysis on material drivers
- Contribute to statutory accounts preparation in compliance with IFRS
- Support external audits and provide accurate financial data
- Prepare and post journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monitor bank accounts
Requirements:
- Accounting or industry-specific qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent) preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, PeopleSoft, PowerBI)
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience in finance, accounting, or audit
- Financial services experience, preferably within global markets or banking
