A multinational organization, leading in sensor-based sorting and post-harvest solutions, is seeking a Senior R&D Project Manager to lead and deliver key development projects in the Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) sectors. This role involves overseeing large-scale, complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
The Senior Project Manager will regularly report to senior stakeholders, communicating project progress, challenges, and resolutions. Additionally, the role includes mentoring project managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver multiple large-scale projects according to the company's project model.
- Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring progress is tracked and communicated.
- Provide strategic reporting to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and resolutions.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers to foster team growth and development.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the company's Project Model and Academy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of global projects.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience in technology/product-focused industries, ideally in machinery or automated systems.
- Proven track record in managing NPD and R&D projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2, PMP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing global teams and working with manufacturing and automated machinery/products.
