Senior Engineer (Switchgear & Transformer)

About The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing project executions for LV, MV, and HV (132kV and 11kV switchgear) installations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to distribution substation HV and LV apparatus installation and replacement works and commissioning
• Compile technical specification for switchgears and transformers and provide insights and recommendations to the process of tender evaluation and project execution
• Conduct periodic review for the performance of power quality and formulate improvement plans to ensure reliability and optimal performance for power supply equipment
• Perform system fault diagnosis and investigations for power substation and identify root causes for signal failure/ defects

Job Requirements

• Master of Science or Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent discipline of Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of LV, MV, and HV project management experience, preferably obtained within a public utility
• Experience in LV and MV overhead line equipment maintenance and repair works is required
• Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Individual with great interpersonal skills to facilitate day to day operations and communications between stakeholders
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Engineer
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
