Excellent opportunity for an analytically minded qualified accountant to join a leading FMCG business as a Senior Financial Analyst.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in reporting and providing critical analyses on financial performance for leadership. As the successful applicant you will drive key process improvement strategies and will also be an integral part of the budgeting and forecasting processes. This would be a brilliant role for a qualified accountant with strong data analytics experience and the ability to build management dashboards leveraging Power BI or another similar tool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partner with leadership across a Business Unit / Category enabling accurate monthly forecasting and analysis to enhance decision-making.
- Support the design and build of new forecasting processes and tools, build new dashboards to support management review of KPIs leveraging Power BI, Anaplan or other similar tools.
- Analyse industry trends and evolving technology to pro-actively identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare reports and analysis for forecasting and monthly close review
- Model and provide strategic insights for Annual Operating Plan
- Support the high performing team culture in a fast-paced environment to execute strategic goals and improve quality decision making;
- Provide value-added analytics to improve enterprise financial performance
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, procurement finance/costing, and building financial models
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power Point, Power BI and Anaplan
- Ability to build detailed financial models in excel and other modelling tools.
- Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
