About the job
What You'll Do:
- Master the end-to-end workflows, systems, and client integrations.
- Dive deep into logs, code, and databases to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Own incident response and act as the trusted escalation point for clients.
- Partner with core engineering to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Rotate weekend on-call (1 in 3 weeks).
- Build and maintain a world-class knowledge base with dev teams.
- Document solutions and support guides.
- Coordinate with market data vendors and external partners.
- Keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates.
Must-Have Skills:
- Fluent in both technical and business language.
- Python scripting to automate routine tasks.
- Proven ownership of incidents and user requests.
- Process-driven: build and document support workflows.
- ITIL-aware with production support experience in dynamic environments.
- Strong SQL on enterprise RDBMS (Sybase/DB2 a plus).
- Comfortable with Linux/UNIX, Python, and Java.
- Analytical mindset with excellent debugging skills.
- Collaborative team player; global experience a plus.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to observability and SRE principles.
- Familiarity with financial markets and data.
- Hands-on Java development.
- Experience supporting reference data systems or middleware.
