Role Overview:

The Senior Manufacturing Director will be supporting two Manufacturing sites in Ireland, to ensure smooth and continuous manufacturing operations by managing and directing teams in one of the countries leading and upcoming medical device companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Direct team members and manufacturing activities, including planning, staffing, and budgeting.
- Develop talent and succession plans aligned with growth strategies.
- Collaborate on operational strategy and execution with network leadership.
- Project & Process Management:
- Implement strategic processes and oversee manufacturing projects.
- Optimize business processes and implement solutions to meet business needs.
- Standardization & Compliance:
- Drive standardized operations programs and ensure compliance with performance and strategic objectives.
- Manage technical training teams and promote continuous improvement through lean and Six Sigma principles.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven operations management experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel) and manufacturing systems.
- Expertise in manufacturing procedures, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
- Ability to lead teams, manage employee relations, and drive performance metrics.
