Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and refinement of long-term strategic plans for the Commercial division, aligning with the broader business strategy.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive bench marking, and customer trend research to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to translate strategy into actionable plans and implement strategic initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic objectives are understood and executed effectively.
- Lead product reviews and implement actions through the delivery of remediation plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and providing support for emerging opportunities and challenges.
- Lead and manage high-impact projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and efficient execution.
- Ensure the successful delivery of key strategic programs through effective program management and governance.
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience in strategy development and execution within the financial services sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Finance or similar, MBA preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
- Takes ownership and works well under pressure to meet time-lines while effectively escalating issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
