Drive commercial growth for a leading life sciences company by supporting strategic initiatives, delivering performance insights, and strengthening operational efficiency. As a Commercial Excellence & Operation Specialist, you'll work cross-functionally with local, regional, and global teams to optimize sales processes, enhance data quality, and represent Japan's business needs on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial teams for territory planning and segmentation strategies
- Maintain accurate BI and CRM system data, while delivering user training and creating SOPs
- Provide actionable analysis and reporting for monthly performance, ad hoc needs, and KPI tracking
- Collaborate with global and local teams to align on customer and market requirements
- Act as a key liaison between Japan and broader regional/global initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years in commercial operations, sales excellence, analytics, or distributor management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic background
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and BI tools (Qlik preferred)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentation
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication in both Japanese and English
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in life sciences, biopharmaceuticals, or medical devices
- Familiarity with sales territory design and customer targeting strategies
