In this role, you will collaborate with international teams to proactively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring robust protection across web applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to development teams to remediate vulnerabilities identified through automated scans
- Conduct security testing on web applications and APIs using OWASP standards and tools such as Burp Suite
- Review and validate remediation evidence to ensure compliance with internal security policies
- Manage and track vulnerability tickets in JIRA, including re-testing and escalation of unresolved issues
- Perform network security scans using tools like Nmap and Nessus to identify infrastructure risks
- Act as a bridge between security engineers and developers to enhance DevSecOps processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or DevSecOps
- Strong experience in web application and network penetration testing
- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability remediation techniques
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools
- Experience using JIRA or similar ticketing systems
- Familiarity with SDLC and secure development practices
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional and global teams
- Proactive mindset with strong follow-up and ownership
Language Requirements:
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Conversational level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in public cloud security or mobile application security testing
- Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP
