In this executive role, you will define the market strategy, grow key accounts, and lead a high-performing consulting team focused on large-scale digital transformation projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall strategy for the manufacturing practice
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CxO and departmental leadership at key clients
- Lead business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities within the sector
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of industry-focused consultants
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years in management consulting, IT consulting, or B2B sales in the manufacturing sector
- Proven ability to win and deliver large consulting projects with Japanese manufacturing clients
- Established network with executives in Japan's leading manufacturing firms
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP solutions is a plus
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and digital strategy
Soft Skills:
- Executive presence with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent (required for client interaction)
- English: Intermediate to Business level (used for internal communication)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience leading a vertical practice or industry-focused consulting team
- Cross-cultural leadership experience in global or matrixed environments
