Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial, industry, and market-related data for research models and reports
- Create charts and graphs for investor presentations and reports
- Oversee the publication process for research reports, from creation to distribution
- Prepare English-language reports, including basic translations
- Provide administrative support, including managing analysts' schedules, travel arrangements, and expense processing
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support research operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Research assistant experience (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to use Excel functions such as INDIRECT, ADDRESS, and MATCH
- Experience translating Japanese-to-English using machine translation tools
Language Proficiency:
- Japanese: Native-level fluency
- English: Intermediate to business-level proficiency
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Background in science or engineering preferred
- Experience in a pharmaceutical company is a plus
- Prior work in finance or corporate planning at a manufacturing company is welcomed
