Roles/Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with Japanese business teams, acting as a liaison between the Japan IT Business Partner and business units.
- Develop a deep understanding of commercial processes within the Japan business teams such as Sales and Marketing, applying this knowledge to IT strategies and implementations.
- Enhance the business analysis function through best practices, process management, mentoring, and education.
- Manage relationships with high-level business stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams to achieve consensus on optimal solutions.
- Manage internal and external resources to deliver Salesforce applications upgrades, customizations, and implementations on time and within budget.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience required in the IT field.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese and professional working proficiency in English.
- Project delivery lead experience with ERP, SFDC, BI/DWH, or other applications.
- Experience working with high-level business stakeholders in a matrix organization structure.
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce commercial applications.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization and development of new processes/policies, and writing them up in a specs document.

Preferred skills
- Knowledge of the medical device/pharmaceutical industry and adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products, and IT requirements.
- Qualification in Business Analysis or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to guide the business towards optimal solutions.

- Ability to maintain clear communication channels with IT and business stakeholders.
- Skill in explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
