Your New Role
As the Procurement Operations - Data and Reporting Lead (Assistant Vice President), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement function during its exciting transformation journey. Based in London, you'll leverage your expertise in data analytics, reporting, and change management to optimize procurement activities and deliver impactful insights to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, dashboards, and spend reports, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Develop and automate existing tools, trackers, and reports using advanced Excel functionalities to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
- Produce high-quality reports for internal committees and leadership teams, including operational, service, and executive management committees.
- Enhance management information (MI), dashboards, and reporting suites to address data gaps and improve analytical capabilities.
Operational Support and Process Improvement
- Process and manage procurement-related activities, including purchase requisitions and low-value contracts, while identifying opportunities for automation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies, enabling effective risk assessment for third-party engagements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on procurement data and processes, addressing discrepancies and ensuring data consistency.
- Act as a key support contact for procurement systems and tools, ensuring accurate data management and access controls.
Strategic Procurement Enablement
- Collaborate with category managers by providing market insights and leveraging data to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Support training delivery to business units on procurement processes and tools, promoting understanding and compliance.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to gather insights and ensure best practices.
- Engage in tactical procurement activities, including fast-to-contract processes, and provide recommendations to streamline workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather reporting and data requirements, delivering timely and relevant outputs.
- Provide clear, concise, and impactful presentations to communicate insights, opportunities, and recommendations.

What You'll Bring
You will thrive on working with data and creating tools to drive operational excellence. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Advanced Excel expertise, including proficiency with formulas, automation, and dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify insights and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating impactful PowerPoint presentations.
- Familiarity with procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or Oracle.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to multitask across various projects.
- Experience in procurement or finance (preferred but not essential).
- A degree is preferred but not required; tangible experience and expertise are key.
