Our client, a Leading Law Firm, are looking for a Senior Associate - Employment Lawyer to join their Law team based in London.
Responsibilities below:
- You will manage a wide range of employment transactions whilst working with a variety of clients. You will also heavily support the Partner in raising the profile of the employment practice (both internally and externally) and will support on business development initiatives.
- You will advise on a mix of complex contentious and non-contentious employment work whilst working directly with clients. You will be required identify and advise on specialist relevant legal solutions relevant to particular client needs.
- Particular responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage a complex caseload.
- Draft, review, and negotiate relevant documentation, including employment contracts and settlement agreements.
- Providing commercial, pragmatic and risk-based employment advice to a range of clients on a wide variety of employment law matters, including working with overseas lawyers and counsel in litigation matters;
- Advising on issues including but not limited to:
- employment contracts, grievances, dismissals, subject access requests, business transfers and outsourcings, employment disputes in the High Court and tribunals, TUPE, redundancy situations and hiring and firing.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in employment law and sharing knowledge across the firm.
Previous experience within Employment Law and minimum 6 years PQE is preferred.
