The Role:
As a Senior Market Data Analyst, you will:
- Develop and improve derived market data models and proxy solutions across multiple asset classes.
- Work closely with traders, risk teams, and model developers, solving challenges and delivering impactful results.
- Contribute to key initiatives such as regulatory remediation and model validation closure.
- Use your coding expertise in Python to build tools, manipulate large datasets, and automate reporting processes.
- Lead the design and enhancement of reporting suites to support strategic projects.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates with:
- At least 5+ years of experience in market data analytics, market risk, or front office roles.
- A STEM degree (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science) and a strong track record of quantitative problem-solving.
- Broad knowledge of multiple asset classes, with expertise in Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) or commodities being a strong advantage.
- Hands-on Python coding experience (essential), with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.
- A proven ability to collaborate with front office teams, including traders, structurers, and risk managers.
- A history of delivering results in high-pressure, regulatory-driven environments.
