An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Finance Contractor to join a rapidly expanding business. Our client is a fast-scaling company that supports thousands of transactions daily across schools, suppliers, and catering businesses..

This role is designed to provide immediate financial oversight, streamline reporting processes, and enhance forecasting and budgeting initiatives. If you are a strategic thinker who enjoys process optimisation and driving efficiencies, this is an excellent contract role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end reporting and contribute to the board reporting pack.
• Work with leadership to deliver the annual budget and rolling reforecasts.
• Partner with cost centre owners to ensure budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify inefficiencies in finance operations, build a business case for improvements, and implement streamlined workflows.
• Use large data sets to provide meaningful commercial insights and support strategic decision-making.

About You:

• CA/CPA qualification is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
• Expertise in handling high-volume transactions and online payment systems.
• Strong track record in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
• Proficiency in MYOB is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
