About the role
My client is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support finance team in delivering comprehensive financial reporting and full set reporting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial management and reporting, contributing to the family's financial success and stability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage full set financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data and prepare forecasts and budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of investment performance reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Support the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
- Participate in financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably within a family office, private equity, or investment environment.
- Strong knowledge of full set financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with finance project and operations is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
