Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of a securities trading platform, including margin trading.
Oversee the operations and development of the securities trading business, driving the achievement of strategic business goals.
Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Formulate business strategies, review internal policies, and refine operational processes to meet regulatory compliance and risk control standards.
Contribute to the launch of investment products and participate in system integration, enhancement projects, and user acceptance testing, while providing input for new initiatives.
Collaborate with the department head to align platform capabilities with business objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver solutions.
Assist in managing communications with regulators and exchanges, coordinating necessary responses and actions as required.
Monitor regulatory updates and recommend appropriate follow-up actions to ensure compliance.
Stay informed about industry developments and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for platform innovation and improvement.
Develop and execute investment strategies that align with the company's overall vision and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above holder with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in securities trading, wealth management, or digital transformation, with hands-on exposure to building or enhancing trading platforms.
Eligibility to act as a Responsible Officer or Executive Officer under SFC Type 1 is essential.
In-depth knowledge of securities trading and settlement regulations in both Hong Kong and the US markets.
Demonstrated success in managing digital transformation or automation initiatives within the financial services sector.
Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Holder of relevant licenses, including passes in the HKSI Licensing Exam (Paper 1, 7 & 8) or equivalent qualifications.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate within teams.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin is required.
Flexibility to accommodate varying working hours to align with different exchange market operations.
