About The Role
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be partnering with business stakeholders for the development and deployment of competitive and cost-effective end-to-end procurement workflow and strategies. In addition, manage contractual operations for cross departmental tenders to maximize high degree of procurement compliance throughout the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and elevate opportunities within indirect category management (Transportation & Logistics Services) whilst maintaining quality and standards for the services procured
- Develop and deploy cost effective and competitive procurement strategies according to business stakeholder's needs and requirements
- Conduct periodic reviews for indirect category financial expenditure to ensure cost-effectiveness is driven and maintained throughout the company
- Develop key performance indicators to ensure suppliers can fulfil targeted performance specifications/ SLAs
- Lead in contractual operations for cross departmental tenders to maximize high degree/ level of procurement compliance to ensure the organisation's interest is always protected
- Provide insights and recommendations to best practices of procurement operations for continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant disciplines of studies
- Individuals with CIPS or MCIPS membership is highly preferred
- Minimum 7 years of indirect services category management (Transportation Services) experience, all of which should be obtained within a sizeable corporation
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communications between business stakeholders
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Assistant Strategic Sourcing Manager
- Immediate availbility is highly preferred
