Develop relationships with institutional clients in Hong Kong, including global hedge funds, long-only funds, and pension funds.
Provide clients with market insights and research to support their investment decisions.
Monitor market trends, news, and events that could influence securities trading.
Collaborate with internal equity research and investment banking teams to offer clients a full range of investment solutions.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance the firm's equity trading services.
Assist in setting both annual and long-term strategic goals for equity business across the Pan-Asia region.
Oversee investment strategies to optimize portfolio performance, while also driving revenue growth by strengthening client relationships and expanding business development efforts across Asia-including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, and Japan.
Promote and distribute the firm's research and equity-related services to institutional investors across Asia.
Facilitate investor access to corporate management by organizing and executing events with local partners.
Requirements:
At least 10 years and above experience in regional equity sales, with a strong institutional client base and a proven ability to generate revenue.
SFC Type 1 License is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, accounting, and general market dynamics.
Strong understanding of financial products and capital markets, with a track record of working effectively in an equity sales and trading environment.
Proficiency in English is required; Cantonese or Mandarin would be an asset.
