My Background

John heads up Morgan McKinley’s private practice legal desk in Ireland.

With 12 years of recruitment experience fully dedicated to the legal industry and covering talent identification in all practice specialisms from NQs to Partnership hires, John has significant experience in legal recruitment processes for legal practitioners into private practice and commercial entities domestically and internationally.

John holds degrees in Business and Law and a Masters degree in HRM. He is admitted as a solicitor in Ireland and England and Wales, having trained at Mason Hayes & Curran, a leading Irish commercial firm. A CIPD chartered member, he has an understanding of the practical human resourcing needs of both law firms and legal practitioners together with a deep network of contacts developed in the Dublin legal services market throughout his career.

John joined Morgan McKinley in February 2019, having previously worked as a recruitment consultant and business manager at Michael Page, Hudson Global and FRS.
