Clerical Officer

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Clerical Officer to join our team in East Cork on a temporary basis.

35 hour working week, €16.32 per hour

6 week contract to begin with

About the Role:

As a Grade 3 Clerical Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and organising patient files and medical documents
• Providing administrative support to healthcare professionals
• Assisting with data entry, patient record maintenance, and filing

• Highly organised: You can efficiently manage multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
• A strong communicator: You can convey information clearly and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in IT: You are comfortable using office software, particularly in a healthcare setting, with experience in systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A team player: You collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the healthcare environment.

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a healthcare setting, is advantageous but not essential. We value a positive attitude and a commitment to supporting patient care.
