A leading client in the engineering sector is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with expertise in electrical design to work across a range of sectors, including Pharma, Medtech, Microelectronics, Food, and Industrial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and solutions for projects in the Pharma, Medtech, Microelectronics, Food, and Industrial sectors.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
- Perform detailed electrical design calculations and generate technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during project execution, from design to commissioning.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering, ideally in the Pharma, Medtech, Microelectronics, Food, or Industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design software, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- At least 4/5 years experience
