Solar Project Manager
We have an opening for a Solar Project Manager to join the Cork office of an international renewables company. The role will involve keeping the solar projects pipeline running smoothly from pre-construction to completion
In the role you will be:
- Working on a portfolio of solar projects at various stages of development
- Coordinating output with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
- Keeping an eye on budgets, timelines, and quality, as well as updating senior management on progress.
- Making sure everything meets project requirements, safety standards, and sustainability goals.
- Keeping everyone in the loop, both within the team and with external partners.
- Handling tendering processes for small works and contracts.
- Overseeing technical designs to make sure everything is on point.
- Using company tools to manage payments, safety, contracts, and risks.
- Ensuring compliance with anti-corruption policies and company reporting guidelines
- Sharing your expertise to help strengthen our team's skills in renewable energy while maintaining high environmental and safety standards.
Ideally you will have:
· A qualification in engineering or energy and some experience in developing solar projects
· An understanding of the steps in renewable project development and delivery
· Excellent communication skills
