Job Title: Development Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join and existing team and drive the development of multiple renewable gas projects across Ireland. As a key member of the business, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions while contributing to Ireland's transition to a low-carbon future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of renewable gas projects from inception to construction-ready stage.
- Identify and secure suitable project sites, negotiating with landowners and stakeholders.
- Manage feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with planning, permitting, and environmental regulations.
- Develop project budgets, timelines, and risk assessments, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, investors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project handover.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth in the renewable gas sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project development, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of the renewable gas sector, including biogas, biomethane, or anaerobic digestion technologies.
- Proven track record in managing the planning and permitting process in Ireland.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
