Our client based in Dublin, city centre is seeking an experienced Events & Tradeshows Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and experienced in planning and executing international events and tradeshows.
Role Overview
In this role, you will report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event and tradeshow management, from planning and budgeting to logistics, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to bring the brand to life through events and tradeshows
- Schedule, organise, and execute event plans with a strong attention to detail
- Develop and manage event budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities when possible
- Assist with the creation of event promotional materials and manage internal and external promotions, including company website, intranet, LinkedIn, on-site branding, and digital/print advertising
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services for events
- Oversee logistics and ensure seamless execution of all event-related requirements
- Book and manage travel and accommodation for event attendees
- Attend events and tradeshows to support the sales team and customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events, resolving any issues in real time
- Collect feedback post-event and implement process improvements where necessary
- Assist with other general marketing duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualifications in event management or marketing
- Strong project/event management skills
- At least 3 years of experience in event management or coordination
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Flexible and collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively within a team
