Main Accountabilities
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communications channels.
- Internal and External Communications: Ensure clear, consistent and effective communication to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, events and more.
- Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that supports marketing and communication objectives, including the creation of engaging and compelling content for different platforms and audiences.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry. Use this information to refine marketing strategies and tactics.
- Public Relations: Manage media relations and public relations activities to enhance the organization's reputation and manage its public image.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute communication strategies for company events, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, etc, in collaboration with event project leaders, marketing and content owners.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business communications or related field required, Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of applicable experience working in a corporate marketing and communications department in a mid to large size company.
- Experience in global or multi-national marketing and communications experience preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creative mindset and demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills
- Familiar with digital trends and the current social media landscape
- Familiar with content management systems
- Must be self-starter and able to use independent judgment
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects especially in times of crisis.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with outside vendors and associations
