About the Role:
We are seeking a Product Owner to join our client's dynamic Digital team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving digital transformation and the creation of best-in-class customer experiences. Working within an Agile framework, you will define business requirements, prioritise tasks, and collaborate with local and global Scrum teams to ensure smooth project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful transformation projects and deliver significant business value through strategic product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the Product Vision: Establish and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Lead Agile Teams: Provide direction to cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring they remain focused on tasks that align with product and business objectives.
- Prioritise Backlog: Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and ROI, ensuring the team is always equipped with the most impactful tasks.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, UX teams, and IT to gather requirements, write user stories, and ensure the optimal user experience for new features.
- Support Scrum Lead: Assist in business readiness and deployment activities, while supporting the team in sprint reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Effective Communication: Share progress, challenges, and insights with business owners and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage Impediments: Proactively identify and mitigate potential blockers, ensuring that the team can meet their sprint goals and deliver high-quality results.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Agile backlog management tools (Jira or similar).
- Expertise in business analysis, including data analysis, use case development, user story writing, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex customer needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools.
- Experience working on large transformation projects is a plus.
