About the Role:
The IT team provides services and support across the organisation and a wider user base. The IT Business Partnering team serves as a strategic adviser, bridging the gap between the IT department and the broader business, managing demand, and ensuring a high-quality service.
Reporting to the Senior IT Business Partner, the IT Business Partner will act as a key interface between business units and the IT department, ensuring effective decision-making, monitoring IT performance, and supporting the delivery of solutions aligned with organisational goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact between the business and the IT organisation, ensuring reliable IT services and supporting the delivery of new IT capabilities.
- Assist senior stakeholders in deriving insights from reports, recommending improvements where needed.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure services such as operations, design, architecture, and security meet business requirements.
- Communicate programme/project updates, manage risks, and assist in creating necessary documentation.
- Support the development, implementation, and embedding of IT projects and processes into the business.
- Capture and communicate IT demand and changes to relevant teams.
- Monitor the outcomes of IT initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Review and ensure consistent application of IT policies and processes.
- Escalate and resolve operational IT issues in collaboration with wider IT teams.
- Work with finance teams to manage budgets effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, participating in governance forums.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT needs and ensure service alignment.
- Promote and deliver health and safety objectives across the organisation and its supply chain.
- Support organisational transformation programmes and strategic objectives.
- Foster open and honest communication within and outside the IT team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable sector.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience handling complex issues and communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and implement improvements.
