Morgan McKinley is excited to partner with a leading European financial services organisation. We are seeking an experineced IT Audit Manager to join our Dublin based team, reporting to senior leadership. In this role, you will lead audits, assess IT risks, and ensure effective internal controls within the organisation.
Roles and responsibilities:
Audit Engagements:
- Assess IT risks and controls within the organisation's systems and processes.
- Ensure robust controls for major systems implementations and operations.
- Lead audit engagements from planning to final reporting, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Draft and present audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Governance & Strategic Contribution:
- Support the development of audit methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate on the annual risk assessment and audit planning process.
- Participate in change initiatives, offering expert advice on IT risk and controls.
- Build and lead a team of internal auditors, fostering professional development.
- Engage with external auditors and service providers to ensure cohesive audit strategies.
Job Requirements
- Professional qualification (e.g., ISACA, CISA, CISM) with 5-7 years' experience in IT auditing.
- Background in financial services or insurance is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and Solvency II reporting; knowledge of regulatory standards like BMA, FCA, or CBI is advantageous.
- Experience in operational risk management, change management, and project management.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
