Our client, a leading pharmaceuticals manufacturer, are seeking to hire a Manufacturing Specialist to join their Cork site.
Reporting to the Director and Production Manager, as Manufacturing Specialist you will acts as the SME for the production line and be responsible for the supprting manufacturing activities including continuous improvement, quality analysis, equipment introduction and training. The ideal candidate will own the entire line support process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support projects for continuous improvement, training, compliance and equipment.
- Provide full support to the production operations teams where neccessary, providing feedback on key metrics including efficiency, waste, EHS, and quality.
- Undertake root-cause analysis on deviations and delivering on outcomes.
- Batch control and documentation management.
Requirements:
- Level 8 degree in science or engineering.
- Strong GMP experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
- Excellent project management skils with strong attention to detail.
- Proven track record in delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
- Must be available to work 4-cycle shift pattern.
