Financial Accountant

Our client, a global leader in financial technology are looking for a Financial Accountant to join them initially on a 6-month contract.

You'll play a critical role in shaping the reporting framework for their UK and Ireland entities, while helping to achieve their ambitious global objectives.

With offices based in Dublin, they would be operating with a predominantly remote working model with some hybrid working when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end management accounts
• Provide insights and analysis to business stakeholders.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliation and monthly P&L reporting.
• Address internal and external audit queries.
• Standardize finance processes for newly acquired divisions.
• Continuously improve finance workflows using innovative technologies.
• Harness data from financial systems to provide actionable insights.

Minimum Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified with strong IFRS knowledge.
• Proven ability to improve financial reporting processes through technology.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
