Are you a qualified accountant with a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for problem-solving? I am recruiting for an exciting opportunity within a leading global professional services firm, renowned for delivering high-impact solutions to complex business challenges.
This role is a unique chance to join a dynamic Managed Solutions team, supporting a variety of finance-related and strategic advisory projects for both private and public sector clients. You'll be part of a collaborative team that works across multiple service areas - from process improvement and compliance coordination to payments, data analysis and reporting.
With offices based in Dublin City Centre, they are operating with a hybrid working model.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and verifying quarterly financial returns from local authorities
- Analysing operational reports and participant trackers
- Preparing and issuing payments in line with grant agreements
- Preparing monthly issue returns reports
- Monitoring actual vs budgeted spend and reporting on variances
- Responding to grant compliance and reporting queries
- Assisting with 6-monthly reporting to the Fund Administration Unit
- Supporting internal stakeholders with performance tracking
- Handling ad hoc finance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a Finance team, ideally within industry or advisory
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities
- Proven data analysis skills
- Highly organised, deadline-driven and detail-oriented
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player
