The Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, providing excellent patient service.
- Scheduling appointments and managing diaries.
- Answering phone calls and directing them appropriately via a busy switchboard.
- Managing correspondence, including emails and sorting post.
- Carrying out requests from management as needed.
- Assisting with administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the practice.
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working in a medical or hospital setting.
- Possess strong organisational and communication skills.
- Are empathetic, approachable, and patient-focused.
- Are comfortable managing a busy switchboard and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
- Hold valid Garda vetting (essential).
