A pharmaceutical company in Dublin are looking for a temporary Warehouse Operative to join their team.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Carry out the receipt, storage and distribution duties as directed in the assigned area of warehousing.
- Carry out all warehouse operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist the achievement of Production output targets by prompt delivery and the collection of materials to/from designated Production areas.
- Assist in Packaging operations as required when trained in specific packaging tasks.
- Carry out all warehouse operations in the designated area in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ensure that the observed damaged goods are immediately brought to the attention of the Warehouse Supervisor / QA and not issued to Production / Shipment.
- Complete all documentation (e.g. GI dockets, logbooks and cleaning records) relating to warehouse activities as required in a timely fashion.
- Immediately notify the Warehouse Supervisor of any deviation from SOPs and/or deviations in the standard warehouse practices.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean and tidy state at all times during warehousing activities in compliance with 6S standards.
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned in the Warehouse.
- Return materials to appropriate rack locations in good condition.
- Participate in all training and assessment activities related to the job of Warehouse Operator (e.g. forklift driving, GMP training).
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Up to date licence for turret truck, forklift or PPT
- Required to work shift.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, work on own initiative with little guidance in a high-volume fast-moving environment.
- A strong team player that is willing to support fellow employees in meeting company's goals and objectives.
- Highly focused and result orientated.
