A leading E&M contracting company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer. With ongoing project demands, they are currently recruiting for individuals with experience to design, build, and operation for Electrical/ Power Distribution projects.
About The Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for design, build, and operation for Power Distribution/ High Voltage system (115 kV to 230 kV). In addition, perform on-site inspections for the progress of T&C performed by subcontractors.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out on all project management activities related to Power Distribution/ High Voltage system (115 kV to 230 kV) projects
- Perform site inspections and mitigate potential problems within the process of T&C/ electrical installation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to expedite resolutions to resolve problems affecting the achievement of project timeline
- Prepare technical & material submissions, budget control, and other relevant technical submissions to ensure all project management. operation and maintenance, & addition and alteration works of building services systems and HV electrical systems are fulfilled according to internal alignment
- Liaise with external parties, such as but not limited to: contractors, and consultants for weekly project status updates
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Building Service Engineering. Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical/ Power Distribution project experience, preferably all of which is obtained within the sector of E&M contracting
- Candidates with exposure to high voltage system (115 kV to 230 kV) within a public utility is highly preferred
- A registered electrical worker of grade C(0) and H(0) is required
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- A hardworking candidate with a can do attitude to overcome obstacles and challenges in their daily responsibilities
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Project Engineer
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
