Compliance Project Manager - US Bank

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the APAC non-financial risk framework, with a focus on ensuring a consistent approach across the region and alignment with global policies and procedures
• Contribute to regional NFR initiatives including metrics, risk assessments, process changes
• Act as a representative for APAC attending relevant working groups and forums to assist with analysis and discussions on global policy changes, initiatives and requirements
• Work on ad-hoc projects at a Firmwide / Legal and Compliance Divisional level coordinating NFR resources and responses
• Actively plan, shape and drive initiatives
• Clearly identify deliverables and drive progress to ensure actions remain on track
• Proactively carry out analysis to develop strawman proposals to drive engagement and progress
• Actively partner and engage with key stakeholders across various business functions and NFR country and coverage teams
• Prepare and present management reporting decks for presentation at regional governance forums and steering committees

Requirements

• University degree with at least 8 years of relevant work experience within the financial services sector
• Experience and familiarity with Compliance or Operational Risk frameworks
• Prior experience in implementing regulatory initiatives or experience working in regulatory environment
• MS-PowerPoint, MS Excel are essential
• Hands-on project management experience and solid understanding of the project lifecycle
• Organized and efficient, with a strong sense of ownership and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands and changing priorities
• Strong analytical thinker with ability to problem solve and communicate issues, proposals and complex situations in written and spoken form, to a range of audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence people at all levels
