Develop and enhance the APAC non-financial risk framework, with a focus on ensuring a consistent approach across the region and alignment with global policies and procedures
Contribute to regional NFR initiatives including metrics, risk assessments, process changes
Act as a representative for APAC attending relevant working groups and forums to assist with analysis and discussions on global policy changes, initiatives and requirements
Work on ad-hoc projects at a Firmwide / Legal and Compliance Divisional level coordinating NFR resources and responses
Actively plan, shape and drive initiatives
Clearly identify deliverables and drive progress to ensure actions remain on track
Proactively carry out analysis to develop strawman proposals to drive engagement and progress
Actively partner and engage with key stakeholders across various business functions and NFR country and coverage teams
Prepare and present management reporting decks for presentation at regional governance forums and steering committees
Requirements
University degree with at least 8 years of relevant work experience within the financial services sector
Experience and familiarity with Compliance or Operational Risk frameworks
Prior experience in implementing regulatory initiatives or experience working in regulatory environment
MS-PowerPoint, MS Excel are essential
Hands-on project management experience and solid understanding of the project lifecycle
Organized and efficient, with a strong sense of ownership and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands and changing priorities
Strong analytical thinker with ability to problem solve and communicate issues, proposals and complex situations in written and spoken form, to a range of audiences
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence people at all levels
