Operational Risk Manager (Banking)

Our client is a Hong Kong incorporated bank with numerous branches and established business in personal and wholesale banking.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of operational risk assessments and risk indicators across the Bank.
• Formulate, update, and implement policies and procedures related to Operational Risk Management, BCP, and Operational Resilience, ensuring effective execution of related activities.
• Design and deliver training for staff on Operational Risk Management, BCP, and Operational Resilience, while providing guidance to business units on implementation practices.
• Collect and analyze operational risks, review risk assessments of new products/services, and compile reports and metrics for management.
• Participate in investigations of operational risk events, enhance management plans, and maintain business recovery capabilities to minimize risk exposure.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in operational risk management, business risk management, intenal control or relevant functions in banking and financial services.
• Sound knowledge in operational risk and internal control requirements.
• AORP or CORP is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
