Join a global internet services leader at the center of Japan's digital economy as a Technical Product Manager. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a core catalog and enterprise data platform, enabling faster and more scalable development of diverse digital services. Working at the intersection of business and engineering, you will play a critical role in translating complex requirements into robust technical solutions that power large-scale platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product requirements and translate business needs into clear technical specifications for engineering teams
- Prioritize development backlogs and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple business units
- Monitor development progress and ensure on-time delivery through structured project lifecycle management
- Conduct product analysis and issue identification to develop actionable hypotheses and strategic plans
- Facilitate alignment and negotiations between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, Product Manager, or Technical Product Manager
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical documentation and roadmaps
- Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence or similar project management tools
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to bridge engineers and business stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills to manage priorities in cross-functional, cross-cultural environments
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges under pressure
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Fluent
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale master data or catalog platform systems
- Ability to support strategy planning and execution for new data expansion initiatives
- Background in agile development methodologies and multi-stakeholder reporting
