HRBP in a global manufacturing company
Roles/Responsibilities
- Strategic HRBP: Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals. Drive workforce planning, talent development, and change management initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting engagement.
- Performance Management: Lead performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and the development of a high-performance culture.
- Labour Union Communications: Build and maintain productive relationships with labour unions, negotiating and facilitating dialogue to address concerns and ensure compliance with labour laws.
- Leadership Development: Partner with business leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive organizational effectiveness.
Required skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) in HR, with at least 5 years in an HRBP or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labour laws, employment regulations, and union practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organization.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and hands-on execution.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English.
