Lead e-commerce strategies for a premium audio brand, driving sales growth and optimizing performance through strategic account management!
Roles/Responsibilities
- Own and manage brand's strategic business with the account to ensure the achievement of revenue, profit targets, and other KPIs through comprehensive planning and execution.
- Develop and implement detailed annual growth plans and quarterly execution strategies, securing the account's commitment to drive business growth.
- Integrate brand's category direction into the annual growth plan in collaboration with the customer, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Oversee sales performance metrics, manage sell-in performance, and guide sell-through activities to meet monthly targets and optimize sales efficiency.
- Provide weekly forecasts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure KPI targets are met and performance gaps are addressed.
- Work closely with the digital marketing manager and supply chain analyst to align execution plans with quarterly growth objectives and ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with the account to review performance, adjust strategies, plan for future growth, and build a strong, long-term partnership while identifying new business opportunities and mitigating risks.
Required skills
- Over 5 years of experience managing (Amazon, Rakuten, etc.) within the consumer industry, preferably with premium or luxury brands, handling large-scale commercial responsibilities.
- Expertise in e-commerce technologies and tactics, along with strong analytical skills, to interpret consumer data and drive strategic sales activities through annual, quarterly, and monthly execution plans.
- Proven ability in competitive selling, negotiation, and influence, effectively communicating across all organizational levels to reach mutually beneficial agreements, while applying digital marketing acumen to enhance brand value.
Preferred skills
- Proficient in Business Japanese and English (both written and spoken), with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be located in or eligible to work in Japan.

- Strong ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams, paying strict attention to detail, and using advanced MS Office, including Excel, for effective data handling and execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a proactive approach to listening and questioning the status quo, to drive continuous improvement and deliver impactful presentations.
