The Assignment

Huawei was seeking a very senior technology executive- The Chief Scientist – Intent-Driven & Autonomous Networks to lead Huawei's technological innovation and research direction across SDN (Software Defined Networking) and to drive all research projects within the Autonomous Network portfolio.

The Chief Scientist – Intent-Driven & Autonomous Networks—would report to the General Manager of Huawei NCE Data Communications Domain with a dotted line into the President of Huawei’s Dublin-based research centre. The chosen executive would inherit and further build a team that applies a combination of advanced software techniques and architectures and deep domain expertise to transform the network to become agile, programmable, on-demand and autonomous. The successful candidate would be working with their highly talented team to unlock the potential of the network and make breakthroughs in the network revolution.
