The Assignment

As a key member of the Technology Leadership Team, the Chief Technology Security & Risk Officer’s purpose was to protect our client’s technology and digital assets and ensure compliance. At the same time, technology is enabling this retailer’s growth ambitions, and the Chief Technology Security and Risk Officer would provide executive leadership and oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks, directing all efforts concerned with the security of the organisation.

The Solution

While ideally this role would be based in Dublin, the talent pool with the requisite skill set is based in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. We also scoped European expatriates across the USA and APAC. In addition, we were seeking a blended experience in this hire across all IT security areas, including risk, governance, cyber, and everything in between.
