Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is partnering with a growing company to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team in Bedfordshire.
Role Overview
In this dynamic role, you will support the Accounts Payable team with processing invoices, payments, and month-end tasks. You will play a key part in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with month-end tasks and reporting
· Process multi-country import stock invoices
· Manage overhead invoices, ensuring correct coding
· Process BACS and international payment runs
· Resolve supplier queries and process purchase return orders
· Set up new supplier accounts
· Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and credit cards
· Support the Accounts Payable month-end process
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Strong understanding of accounting principles
· Experience with stock and import invoices
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Experience with multi-currency and international payments
· Excellent communication skills, both internal and external
· AAT qualification or equivalent experience in finance/accounting
Salary & Benefits:
· Competitive Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
